Yamaha Southern Africa is a dynamic business with an exceptional products range that is well known across the globe. We were asked to develop an online visibility to represent the products and dealerships to prospects and customers. Our aim was to develop a robust website that is easy to navigate due to the diverse product ranges. An effective online marketing strategy was planned and implemented to successfully grow the Yamaha audience. Content management was a crucial part of keeping the website up to date and fresh. This included product updates, blog posts, promotions, videos, social media marketing and SEO.

The majority of consumers start their product research journey online. The importance of an effective digital presence is crucial and that is what we achieved with an easy-to-use website and effective online marketing. Due to the nature of new product releases and updates to models, the web properties has to be easy to update. 

A website is only one part of a brand’s online experience. Our services cover the full spectrum of online marketing including social media, email marketing, content creation, FB Messenger chatbot marketing, FB Ads, video production, video marketing (a Youtube channel), SEO (search engine optimisation), podcasts and online reputation management. With the majority of web traffic now coming from mobile, the Yamaha website has to be mobile friendly. We optimise the website to make the mobile browsing experience a pleasure, thus making it easy to engage with users and find Yamaha products & services.

Tell the Yamaha Story

The Way Forward:
Users respond well to an authentic experience when visiting a website. The Yamaha story can include a variety of real life ambassadors to tell their stories. Interviews with product owners and professionals using Yamaha products can be turned into a fun podcast series with regular episodes on Motor, Marine, Power, Audio and Music. Associated products and accessories can be featured on the podcasts and videos. By using a chatbot on the website, emails and social media to answer immediate questions, users can engage well with the Yamaha brand. This can be used effectively to build lasting relationships with prospective and existing customers. All content can be repurposed to be used on the website’s blog, as well as on social media.

Tourism Destination Marketing

Kenton Tourism is a Local Tourism Organisation with the mandate of growing visitor numbers by effectively using digital tools to promote and engage with tourists worldwide. The project included a new website, membership management and monthly maintenance.

Online Learning Platform

Simply Service offers online training to the hospitality industry. We developed an easy-to-use learning platform to engage students and take them through the process of getting trained. This is a full service solution with web design, video creation, online marketing and maintenance.

4x4 Vehicle Rental

The Bushlore project involved the redevelopment of an out-dated website with purpose of increasing user experience without loosing any search engine rankings. The new website increased Bushlore's qualified enquiries by 30% and saw an exponential growth in their sales!

Popular Restaurant

Continental Restaurant & Deli brought something fresh to the coastal town of Kenton-On-Sea in South Africa. The owners have years of experience in catering and running restaurants in the big city, so it was important to portray their passion for food and people in their new website. Their customers love the Continental offering!

Health & Wellness Spa

Afrika Kusini Wellness Spa has been a long-time client of DM Activate. We developed an effective website to promote their spa services as well as a complete online booking system to manage the business. Our assistance with social media marketing and other digital services are contributing to their ongoing growth.

Independent Award for Pubs

DM Activate worked with Cask Marque to completely redesign their online presence. This included the UX design of the CaskFinder app and their comprehensive website. The project included in-depth SEO, UI development, database integration and a customer service platform to book events and join Cask Marque as a member.
